"Our Summer Home" - Priest Gulch Campground

Priest Gulch Campground is located about 40 minutes northeast of Cortez Colorado. It sits at an elevation of 8100 feet in the San Juan mountain range.
The main sign that greets you on Hwy. !45

Looking east, this was taken from the iron bridge that spans the Dolores river running through the campground.

View from the back porch of the "Toll House" cabin.

I happened to catch these rafters when crossing the bridge in my golf cart. Notice the doggies on the rafts.

Within the first week of our arrival, we were treated to this snow shower.

This view is looking northwest. The green building in the background is the "Gazebo". It's the campground clubhouse per se.

A beautiful sunny day. Our spot for the summer is just about mid-campground.

Lots more to share about the campground and the area in the coming weeks.
